Isn't it funny/ironic how Mom always knew what to do?
Whether it was when you were physically sick or heartsick, Mom was there with just the right medicine.
It could be words, it could be that awful tasting medicine, or it could just be a simple hug.
Remember when we were kids and fell down and scraped our knee? Mom's kiss magically made it feel better.
When we become teenagers, Mom ceases to be all knowing and fails to cure all ills. But when we become young adults, suddenly Mom regains her magical powers.
When we become parents ourselves and see our children acting the same way we acted, Mom is suddenly THE most amazing person in the world. She saw into the future when she told us, "someday you will have a child just like you". How did she know? Mom's really are equipped with magical powers. I think they're implanted at the same time as that first moment of pregnancy.
